Storietv Filmmaker Spotlight
Welcome to the Feeling Creative? community. We’ve partnered with Storietv to help shine a light on independent films.
You’ve done the hard part…you made the movie. Now comes the hustle. A film without press might as well be invisible. We are here to fix that. We want to feature your project, tell your story, and give you the "digital ink" you need to build momentum.
Your film is streaming, Now let’s Spread The Word
We don't just post press releases. We dig into the process. By featuring your film on FC?, you get:
· Validation: A dedicated article that you can link to your website, social media pages, press kit and wherever else you can share.
· SEO & Discoverability: A permanent, searchable footprint for your film title and your name as a director or producer.
· Your Story: Not just your film’s trailer, but a platform to explain your creative vision and inspiration, the challenges you overcame, and the gear you used.
Why This Matters (The Value for You)
You’ll be featured in a “Creator Spotlight”, perfect for showcasing the "vibe" of the film.
Here’s a film spotlight if you’d like to see an example.
The Format
To make you look good, we need high-quality assets. Please submit the following:
· The Trailer: YouTube or Vimeo link preferred.
· The Poster: Send a jpg or png of your movie poster.
· Production Stills: BTS and/or key frames, send 3-4 jpg or png files.
· The Logline: The one-sentence hook.
· The Synopsis: A brief 1-2 paragraph summary.
· Your Story and/or BTS Story: Tell us about your journey as a filmmaker or anything else about the making of your film that you want to share.
· Director and/or Producer Bio & Headshot: Let us know who you are.
· Social Links: Website, IMDb, Social Media etc…
The Checklist: What We Need From You
Send all materials to FeelingCreativeBlog@gmail.com with the subject line: Storietv Feature: [Title of Film].
Let us know if you want to schedule your article on or near a specific date, maybe to sync up with your premier or other press your are doing. With some advanced notice, we will accommodate.
A Note on Quality: We are an editorial site, not a PR wire. We read every submission. Be authentic, don't sell us the movie; tell us the story behind the movie and/or yourself as a filmmaker. Please don’t send us anything that was obviously written by AI. We want to hear your voice…be human.
How to Submit
Once we receive your submission, we’ll let you know when your article will be published. Depending on how many requests we get, this may take a few weeks. When it goes “live” we’ll send you the link and will also crosspost it across our social media pages and go out as part of our newsletter. We ask that you post and share the article across your pages as well. You’ll also be invited to install our “creator’s badge” on your website, which can link directly to your article.
If you have any questions, please reach out. Thank you, we look forward to working with you.
