Happy Holidays!
I just wanted to reach out to all our readers and wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season.
2025-That’s a Wrap:
2025 was an odd year. Business-wise, it was either super-busy or mostly dead…there didn’t seem to be an in-between. I used some of that dead-period to rebuild and re-focus my video production website, and learned a lot about SEO while doing it.
During that process, I was inspired to build and launch this site.
It started out as just a side project to post a few articles and maybe inspire someone else to be creative and write an article. My goal was just to post an article a week consistently and if it grew into anything…great.
When I “officially” launched the site and really started spreading the word (around Nov 1st), I already had a backlog of articles waiting to be published (thank you to all our guest posters). Since then we’ve published at least 3 articles every week, and hopefully we can keep that going.
Our Facebook, Linkedin and Reddit pages have grown to around 100 followers on each (hey, it’s a start). I’ve taken over 2 abandoned subreddits: r/creative and r/creativeroom, both with over 10,000 followers and expanded to Pinterest and Flipboard, all in order to cross post and attract new site traffic. And speaking of site traffic, we’re averaging around 100 visits a day, so I’m pretty happy with that.
ringing in the new year
It’s always good to set goals. For 2026, our goal is to hit 10,000 views in a month and hopefully keep that going. I’ll need your help to get there…we need to keep the content coming in and need to keep sharing and spreading the word. So, if you or anyone you know has something creative they want to write about, or a project or portfolio they want to promote, please reach out…and with some help and a little bit of luck, this time next year I’ll be telling you how we crushed our goals for 2026.
So, thanks again for your support and thanks to everyone who has guest posted. Let’s keep going and stay creative in 2026.
Happy Holidays.
